Ensembl is reimagining our tools for modern living with a design-forward approach, starting with a collection of radically redesigned cookware. When we were tasked with designing and developing their new website, we seized the opportunity to bring their resonant brand identity to life.
We integrated Ensembl’s progressive design and social responsibility into the site. This included an e-commerce platform, a lifestyle blog, and a way for users to engage with their sustainability program. To connect with Ensembl’s core audience, we adopted their editorial perspective. We provided relevant and helpful content, while also giving the products a stylized treatment that reflected the brand’s identity. This approach involved using modern typography alongside oversized imagery to showcase the minimalist design and innovative features, highlighting their inherent beauty.
We adopted an innovative approach to the e-commerce solution by combining two of our favourite platforms. The website is built on Shopify, capitalizing on its exceptional operational capabilities. Meanwhile, the content management system is developed within WordPress, providing Ensembl with a robust set of tools to manage the website effortlessly.
