Me Va Me is one of Toronto’s most popular fresh-casual restaurants, serving a contemporary blend of Mediterranean cuisines worthy of a full-service location, only faster. Their food is a fan favorite amongst our team, and when we were invited to design their new website and mobile app, everyone in our office was kind enough to offer themselves for user testing.
Me Va Me is recognized for both their delicious food and their unique open-kitchen concept that invites guests into the cooking experience. We extended that welcoming atmosphere into the website by pairing bright and inviting lifestyle imagery from the kitchen with rich studio photography of the meals. Fresh ingredients are emphasized throughout the site, creating a tangible and mouth-watering online experience.
Online food delivery is a fiercely competitive market, and developing an app to capture audience attention requires a premium experience with significant emphasis on the details. We considered the priorities of repeat customers and personalized the app with features like favourite dishes for easy reordering, push notifications with new promotions, and support for multiple payment options to simplify the checkout process.
With industry juggernauts like Uber Eats setting the bar for audience expectations, we designed an experience defined by its intuitiveness and polished user interface. Every detail was considered in depth, from color to typography, to photography and custom iconography - all working together to establish credibility and earn a spot on home screens across the city.
With a large menu and unlimited customization options, designing an intuitive ordering experience was crucial to ensuring consistent and successful completions. We paired a visually rich menu with thoughtful guidance and clear feedback, creating a seamless flow from browsing to checkout to that all-important next order.
